University of Cincinnati Selects AiM™ to Replace Work Order Management System

(Wayne, PA – December 01, 2009) AssetWorks, a leading provider of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solutions, announced that it has signed a facilities management software and implementation services contract with the University of Cincinnati. The University selected AssetWorks to replace an existing self-developed work order management system as well as provide the scheduling, asset management and analytical tools associated with modern maintenance management systems.

Founded in 1819, the University of Cincinnati has grown to include more than 95 buildings totaling more than nine million square feet of space. The University’s Facilities Management Department has 450 people on staff to support facilities spread across three campuses as well as several off-campus properties that are located on 165 acres of land. The university selected AiM to provide statistical data for analysis of operational performance, track equipment history, control preventive maintenance procedures and provide a browser interface for work requests generated by students, staff or faculty.

"Given the current economic environment, universities are looking for vendors they can trust to provide sound implementations and product depth they can grow into over the long term," said Ken Slaughter, Senior Vice President of AssetWorks.  "We appreciate the University of Cincinnati demonstrating their commitment in our people and products."
